Stephen Curry On Ayesha Curry’s Twitter Firestorm: “She Didn’t Let The Negativity In”

Ayesha Curry got her own first taste of widespread online criticism (for reasons still unknown) on Sunday (Dec. 6). After expressing her preference to dress more modestly, the wife of NBA MVP Stephen Curry became a Twitter trending topic. While supporters cheered her on for her message, naysayers slammed the Mrs. Curry for allegedly “slut-shaming.” As the conversation continued to make waves online, her husband’s thoughts on the matter teetered between confused and entertained.

CSN reporter Rosalyn Gold-Onwude caught up with the Warriors guard, and got his opinion on the matter. Curry shared that he was taken aback by the negative reactions, noting that Twitter is usually a forum for people to express ideas. While noting that his wife has her own following and is surely a role model to some, Curry also admitted to getting a kick out of the memes that ensued.
