Wiz Khalifa Announces 'Project Khalifa' For His Die-Hard "Taylors"
Wiz Khalifa has his eyes set on making 2016 a memorable year, with new music and performance for his Taylor Gang. But before he hinted at what's next, he took a little time to reflect on the past year of accomplishments in a short video message to his Taylors.
Wiz definitely had a great 2015. Without releasing a studio album, the rapper touched on some of his big year successes. In the video, the rapper peered through a cloud of smoke, thanking his gang of fans for peaking his single, "See You Again" at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. He also expressed his gratitude for the single's video reaching 1 billion views, along with a Golden Globe nomination. In addition to some major credit, Wiz has been busy on the road with Fall Out Boy and A$AP Rocky earlier this fall. But with all of these great triumphs, Wiz says he plans on paying it forward with a series of new music and projects.
The "Work Hard, Play Hard" rapper plugged his previously announced, mixtapes, Cabin Fever 3 and Rolling Papers 2, thanking fans for its overwhelming success. But in addition to those projects, Wiz revealed he has another surprise up his sleeve. He announced that in between his mixtape releases, he would be dropping Project Khalifa, featuring unreleased music "nobody’s ever heard before." For the fans that are still sitting in shock, they'll be surprised to know that Wiz has plans to drop the new project sometime this January.
