Bodega Bamz Vents His Frustrations About The World's View Of Latinos On "Under Pressure"
Bodega Bamz tells us what real music is supposed to sound like on his new record "Under Pressure."
Bodega Bamz has been dropping knowledge about his Latin heritage for years, but now he's telling us how he really feels in his first offering of 2016 withe new song, "Under Pressure."
Produced by Bronx native First Luv Music, the Dominican-Puerto Rican MC starts off by telling us what real music is supposed to sound like. Later on, Bamz snaps on society's views of his culture and unleashed his irritated thoughts on Latinos being viewed as "second best."
"I'm tired of being second when it comes to our women," Bamz raps. "I'm tired of being second when they raided our kitchen. I'm tired of being pushed to the back when we're the middle man."
The Duck Down/100 Keep It lyricist also says that he's tired of what Reggaeton did to the Latin image and the racism involved in this business. The assertive record comes after a busy year dropping off his debut album Sidewalk Exec and his Tanboys compilation Menace Tan Society featuring Bonnie B, Dark ATM, and more.
