Newcomer D-Win Tackles Social Issues On New EP, ‘Kubrick’

Named after controversial-filmmaker Stanley Kubrick, Chicago native D-Win is so inspired by Kubrick’s realness that he named his brand new EP, Kubrick, after him.

Here, on the six-track effort, the budding rhyme-slinger offers up potent lines with his intriguing POV of being young and Black in America. He also touches on manipulation of the media, racism, and police brutality.

To go along with D’s concept EP, he also brings a witty yet aggressive flow to the table that should grab listeners’ attention from the jump.
