Jimmy Fallon Covers Drake—If Drake Was Actually Bob Dylan
The television host brings Dylan to late night when he needs his love.
Rappers have always made Bob Dylan a staple in their tracks—Kid Cudi, the Beastie Boys, Cypress Hill, to name a few. But what would happen if the bars of today's rappers made their way into Dylan's music? In an attempt to answer that, Jimmy Fallon stepped back into impersonation mode and took a trip to the 6.
Wednesday night (Jan. 13), the Tonight Show host put a more folk tune to "Hotline Bling" by portraying Dylan covering Drake. Dylan's blues background made Fallon's performance of the popular post-breakup anthem fated. True to the singer's character, the host skipped the turtleneck and iconic dance moves associated with the song for a classic brimmed hat, acoustic guitar, and harmonica.
