Kanye West Reportedly Steps Down From Executive Producer Role On Rihanna's 'Anti' Album
Yeezy is taking the time to focus on his own album release.
Due to Yeezy Season's impending approach, it has been reported that Kanye West will no longer serve as the executive producer of Rihanna's highly-anticipated eighth studio album, ANTI.
A fan Twitter account had an alleged exchange with the songstress down in the DM's, where Rihanna gave the fan some inspirational words of wisdom and also spilled the tea.
West told Ryan Seacrest at the 2015 Grammys that he was teaming up with Rihanna to executive produce her forthcoming album, Billboard reported.
"I played her my album," he told Seacrest. "And I said, 'I got a few songs with Paul McCartney. She couldn't get past the record. She had to have it on her album." West produced two of ANTI's singles- "FourFiveSeconds" and "B**ch Better Have My Money." As we know, West is planning on releasing his seventh studio album, SWISH, in February. He has teased fans with songs of his own, such as "Facts," "Real Friends" and "No More Parties in L.A."
Whenever ANTI is released, it should correspond with Rihanna's ANTI World Tour, slated to begin on February 26 in San Diego, Calif. We can't wait to hear both albums when they finally make their debuts.
