Michael Jordan's Son Chuckles At Kanye West's "Facts" Song

Kanye West preceded 2016 with a few words for Nike in the form of a song titled "Facts." The Chi-town native took aim at the sports apparel giant, and had a "Jumpman" like flow over the melody. But a line in particular struck a comedic nerve with one famed athlete's son.
Marcus Jordan, the son of Michael Jordan, caught wind of Mr. West's line, "Yeezy just jumped over Jumpman." He then took to Twitter to share his sentiments on Ye's latest musical offering, typing "LOL I needed a good laugh to start my #2016."

The instrumental, which was produced by Southside and Metro Boomin, also hosts a few more statements for Nike from Kanye, belting out: "If Nike ain't have Drizzy, man they wouldn't have nothin', woo!/ If Nike ain't have Don C, man they wouldn't have nothin', ooh!" It didn't stop there though. Ye continues, "Nike, Nike treat employees just like slaves/ Gave LeBron a billi not to run away."
The deal Kanye's referring to was a lifetime contract with the swoosh brand that King James reportedly signed late last year. “It’s been an unbelievable time for myself and my family, and I’m just grateful that Nike and [Nike founder] Phil Knight and everyone over there just believed in a skinny-old, skinny 18-year-old kid from Akron, Ohio, and I’m happy to be a part of such a great company," he said to reporters after the news broke.
West severed ties with Nike in 2013 and signed a multi-million dollar contract with Adidas. The profitable partnership has spawned the widely successful Yeezy sneakers, that even President Barack Obama owns a pair.
