New Music From Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz May Debut On ‘The Tonight Show’

Music News

Instead of a battle of the dreadlocks, it looks like Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz have joined forces for their upcoming joint project, ColleGrove. And in commemoration of their project, the two are said to premiere new music on set of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on February 15.

While the collaboration isn’t too much of a surprise being that Weezy and Tity Boi have collaborated before on classics like “Duffle Bag Boy,” the two rappers have not partnered much in recent years, aside from the single on Chainz’s EP, Feel Like Clapping, titled “Back on That Bulls***.”

Their newest work, ColleGrove is supposed to be an ode to their hometowns, paying homage to 2 Chainz’s city of Atlanta, and Wayne’s origins in New Orleans. It’s unclear which songs the two will perform on The Tonight Show, but they are rumored to play the album’s first single, “Rolls Royce Weather Everyday.”

The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon will air on NBC on February 15.
