Watch Barack Obama Unabashedly Slam The G.O.P At A 2014 Rally
Some would say President Barack Obama has maintained a certain professional decorum while attempting to work with the G.O.P to sign off on legislative measures that may move the country forward. And while the working relationship hasn’t always been productive, POTUS for the most part has held his tongue.
Well in a two-year-old video, which has resurfaced and made the rounds online, Barack Obama let his true feelings fly during a rally in which he told the packed audience about some of the hurdles he’s faced with Republicans, and even went as far as to taunt the political party.
“Even with all the actions I’ve taken this year, I’m issuing executive orders at the lowest rate in more than 100 years,” Forty-four said. “So it’s clear that the Republicans didn’t seem to mind when President Bush took more executive actions then I did. Maybe it’s just me they don’t like. I don’t know. Maybe there’s some principle out there that I haven’t discerned.
The audience let out a thunderous applause in agreeance with Obama, soaking up his candor, which forced the president to speak closer to the microphone. He then switched gears and acknowledged some of the remarks made by members on the right, to which Obama calmly kept his composure.
“You hear some of ‘em. ‘Sue him! Impeach him!…Really?” he said with a chuckle. “For what? You’re going to sue me for doing my job? Okay. I mean think about that. You’re going to use taxpayer money for doing my job while you don’t do your job.”
