A Man Created A Go Fund Me Page To Purchase An Engagement Ring
So we're crowdsourcing for engagement rings now?
Where there's a will, there's a way, right?
A man by the name of Ken Mack found the love of his life, and wants to make an honest woman out of her. The only problem is engagement rings cost a pretty penny and Mr. Mack didn't have the funds to pony up, so he created a Go Fund Me page hoping the world was filled with a few romantics who may have filed their taxes early enough to spare a few dollars.
“I meet a beautiful young lady and I feel if I don’t make her an honest women and wife here quick she may not become whole so I’m asking for help with an ENGAGEMENT RING."
Former Playa that’s hanging up his player shoes.”
Despite the grammatical errors in his written plea, Mack hoped to reach his $5,000 goal. However, when the Internet learned of his efforts, he quickly became a laughing stock and removed the page.
I WISH my man would try to try me and create a #GoFundMe page to raise money for an engagement ring ... like, no. Absolutely not.

Mack's outlandish request isn't the first time someone used the crowd sourcing platform to further what many think to be a selfish agenda. A woman named Cinnamon Nicole from Cordova, TN created a Powerball reimbursement page after alleging she spent all her money on lottery tickets with the hope she would win the $1.6 billion jackpot. Nicole earned $800 before she took her page down.
Well...so much for romance.
