Joell Ortiz Will Be Here Long After Sucker MCs On “Last Man Standing”
In true Yaowa form, Joell Ortiz sticks to his hip-hop origins and the boom-bap era as he teams up with legendary producer Domingo for their forthcoming collaborative effort, That’s Hip-Hop. The joint project boasts new bars from Ortiz as well as appearances from M.O.P, Tony Touch, Chris Rivers, Raven Felix, Doo Wop, Zooka Joe, and Kool G Rap.
Domingo expertly holds it down as the executive producer of the album, with some assistance from 20th Letter, DNA Beatz, Dj JS-1, Tony Roc and cuts by DJ Cazz. Ortiz’s latest track off That’s Hip-Hop follows the world premiere of the album’s lead single “Kill At Will” (below) featuring Token, whose wicked flow is comparable to Eminem’s.
