According To Kanye West’s Cousin, A Few Songs Left Off Of ‘T.L.O.P.’ Will Make The Next Project
With all of the changes that occurred for the creation and rollout of Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo soundscape, there’s one explanation that speaks to the revamped tracklist of the seventh studio solo album.
In an interview with Central Track, West’s cousin and frequent collaborator, Tony Williams, said that a few songs were kept inside the vault before the reveal of the final tracklist so that the artist/fashion designer could save it for his reported album, which is slated for release this summer. “Some songs were held back for the next project,” Williams simply said when asked about his features on the mysterious album. Williams has contributed his vocals to West’s past projects including College Dropout, Late Registration, and 808s & Heartbreak.
It’s unclear whether or not fans will get to hear a snippet of what West is cooking up in the studio, whether that’ll occur during Ye’s G.O.O.D. Fridays installments or once the weather reaches over 75 degrees.
