Kanye West truly pulled the wool over the Internet’s virtual eyes Wednesday (February 3) when he revealed on Twitter his Rolling Stone magazine cover shot by Tyler The Creator. For about 30 minutes, fans of the Waves emcee ooo’d and ahh’d to see ‘Ye genuinely happy and smiling while wearing a jean jacket and green beanie.

Then the good folks over Rolling Stone hopped on Twitter and said despite their love for Mr.West, unfortunately boys and girls, that isn’t an actual cover. The unanimous sigh of disappointment could be heard from Brooklyn to Botswana. Never one to give up, Kanye West took matters into his own hands.

‘Ye then took it one step further and by polling his followers asking how many people really want Tyler The Creators faux cover to become legit.

With 24 hours left in polling at the time of this post, a little less than 8,100 votes were cast with 54% of people in favor of the fake cover.
