To get fans amped for the remarkable occurrence, Ye shared a little bit of background info on one of the project’s presumably emotional tracks, “Father Stretch My Hands.” The “Through The Wire” rapper shared on Twitter that he cried during the melody’s writing session, ending the sentimental note with “I love my Dad.”

The lyrics highlight his terrifying 2002 car accident, the tragic death of his mother Donda West, and how the market crash affected his father.
