Lupita Nyong’o & Viola Davis Strip Down In Intimate ‘Vanity Fair’ Portraits
Vanity Fair’s annual Hollywood issue has arrived, and on this year’s cover the publication features a number of “acclaimed, stunning actresses across multiple generations.”
Photographed by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, five of this year’s best-actress Oscar nominees—Jennifer Lawrence, Cate Blanchett, Saoirse Ronan, Brie Larson, and Charlotte Rampling—icons like Jane Fonda, Helen Mirren, Viola Davis, and Diane Keaton, up-and-comers likeAlicia Vikander and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Oscar winners Rachel Weisz and Lupita Nyong’o, pose for a powerful photo that reads women empowerment to the fullest.
However, while the cover reads glam, Lupita Nyong’o and Viola Davis decided to go makeup-free for their personal portraits shot by Leibovitz. In all their melanin-filled glory, the two women bare their natural beauty.
Beyond The Lights star Gugu Mbatha Raw also serves a minimal makeup look, captivating all with her almond-shaped eyes and chiseled bone structure.
Quite flawless we must say!
