Romeo Santos, Nicky Jam & Enrique Iglesias Lead The 2016 Latin Billboard Nominations

The Latin Billboard has unveiled their lengthy list of nominees, who will be recognized for their contributions in music this year. Once again, Romeo Santos garners the most nominations in categories that span Artist of the Year, Tour of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Producer of the Year. His chart-topping song “Propuesta Indecente” was also nominated for Hot Latin Song of the year.

Meanwhile, Nicky Jam and Enrique Iglesias have snagged up a total of 11 nominations, respectively. Both artists have achieved historical accolades between their joint single “El Perdón.” The increasingly popular record has become the second longest-running No. 1 track in the history of Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart, followed by Iglesias’ “Bailando.”

J Balvin doesn’t fall too far behind with nominations in eight categories, including Hot Latin Song of the year and Airplay Song of the Year for “Ginza.”

Other nominees like Juan Gabriel, Maná, Farruko, Maluma, OMI and more will join other revered songwriters, producers, record labels and publishers to be honored at one of the most prestigious award shows in the Latin music industry.

The Latin Billboard Awards will be held at the Ritz Carlton in Miami Beach April 25-28, and will air live on Apr. 28 on Telemundo. Check out the full list of nominees here.
