Taraji P. Henson Claps Back Reading 'Mean Tweets' On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'
Taraji P. Henson, Kevin Hart, and more read mean tweets on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'
What could anyone possibly have to say that's mean about Taraji P. Henson? It seems the Empire star is a fan favorite, winning everyone over with her role playing the outrageous and charismatic Cookie on FOX's hit show. But apparently not everyone's a supporter. Or at least that's what we gathered from the actresses' read of the mean things tweeted about her on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Days before the Oscars kick off, Kimmel rounded up some of the most talked about celebrities for another round of his "Mean Tweets" segment, where celebs read off some of the awful and weird things the Internet has to say about them. And this episode's segment, like many of the others, was nothing short of hilarious.
Kevin Hart, George Clooney, and Sean Penn also joined the "Movie Edition," reading off some disturbing tweets. "Kevin Hart seems like an annoying little fart," the Ride Along 2 actor read out loud.
Henson also followed suit with a reading. "Taraji P. Henson seems like she's extremely ghetto in real life lol." But the actress countered the mean tweet saying, "Well I can be b****. Meet me outside."
It's not nice to tweet nasty things, but in this case it serves as funny TV. Watch the episode of "Mean Tweets: Movie Edition" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! below.
