The Game Responds To 50 Cent's Thoughts On His Photo With Lloyd Banks

The two MC's seem to be at odds again.

On Wednesday (Feb. 17), The Game posted a bevy of photos to his Instagram account highlighting his trip to Dubai. But one photo made headlines not because of his activities in the Middle Eastern country, but because of the other person who was featured in the image.

After an extensive rift with G-Unit, it appears that The Game and Lloyd Banks placed their differences aside and snapped a photo for the 'gram together. The Game simply captioned the image with "Still," but someone else has a few more words to add to the occurrence.

Still.

50 Cent reportedly took to his social media account to share his thoughts on the matter. On the now deleted post, the Queens native wrote, "What do you see when you look at this picture? I see confusion, I'm not sure if it's just me, I'm a Cancer sh*t don't get old with me."

The Game caught wind of Fifty's response, and decided to post his own thoughts. The "100" rapper said once he learned that Banks was also in Dubai, he reached out to him to meet up. "It's been 11 years since I seen banks & the funny thing is, I told myself.. When I got there I was going to go off his energy... & when we seen each other, it was instantly all good energy."

He later turned his attention to Fifty, writing, "As for me & you "50" ... Our past has proven we could both get on some gangsta sh*t if need be, being that lives have been lost on both sides....." he stated. "If you choose to ignore the GROWN MAN approach & continue to harbor HATE for me & my side... That's your decision. I can't speak for Banks, but my pride was swallowed last night along with a shot of Hennesey in that club......"

In response to "50"....... When I heard banks was in Dubai, I told my niggas, "we're goin thru to holla".... My team thought I was on some bullshit & thought we was going thru to kick off some bullshit... I then told them, "Naw, we ain't on that... We on the other side of the world enjoying ourselves, 1/2 y'all ain't never even left LA... So we gone go thru, show banks party love & im going to personally let him know that me & him are đź’Ż... It's been 11 years since I seen banks & the funny thing is, I told myself.. When I got there I was going to go off his energy... & when we seen each other, it was instantly all good energy, so we chopped it.. threw back a few dranks & took a flick for old times sake to kill the negativity & tension that had once tore one of the GREATEST RAP GROUPS ever apart !!! At some point, you gotta be a MAN about certain situations so last night that's what I decided to do.. It was MY DECISION !!! Whether Buck, gone admit it or not... I talk to that nigga all the time.. As recent as few months ago when I was in Nashville & it was all love.... Don't front now my nigga... This is ME !!! As for me & you "50"... Our past has proven we could both get on some gangsta shit if need be, being that lives have been lost on both sides..... Lives have been taken from friends, & fathers taken from kids.. Which could've easily been MY LIFE or YOURS..... If you choose to ignore the GROWN MAN approach & continue to harbor HATE for me & my side... That's your decision. I can't speak for Banks, but my pride was swallowed last night along with a shot of Hennesey in that club...... Whatever it's gone be is what it's gone be, I said my peace #HateItOrLoveIt

Black Trans Woman Bee Love Slater Found Burned Alive In Florida

Over the weekend, the body of Bee Love Slater, a 23-year-old transgender woman was found burned beyond recognition inside a car. According to reports, Slater is the 18th trans woman to be killed this year.

Hendry County investigators said as of now the investigation into Slater's death is ongoing. They cannot title it a hate crime until a clear motive has been established, but Slater's best friend, Kenard Wade thinks the vicious manner of her death is a clear sign.

"She had a really, really good heart," Wade told CBS Fort Myers affiliate Wink. "She would never harm anyone, never put anyone in harm's way. How could someone go to that extreme to get rid of her?"

Wade continued and said Slater received several death threats because she's trans and expressed a desire to leave the area for safety reasons.

Slater's death falls in line with an on-going trend of violence against trans women, particularly black trans women. The Human Rights Campaign states 18 trans women have been murdered in 2019, while 26 members of the trans community were killed in 2018 and 29 trans deaths were recorded in 2017.

CBS News reports that the week of Slater's death, Bailey Reeves, 17 transgender teen was shot and killed in Baltimore on Labor Day.

T.I. Grills Candace Owens On Trump's 'MAGA' Slogan At The Revolt Summit

T.I. had one pressing question for Candace Owens during the 2019 Revolt summit that Owens couldn't quite answer. The two-day conference held in Atlanta brought together music executives, activists, and entertainers to discuss hip-hop, it's power, the current climate of the genre and to network. However, with the 2020 presidential elections nearing politics were also a hot topic.

For Saturday's (Sept. 14) Hip Hop and Politics panel hosted by Jeff Johnson, T.I. asked the conservative commentator to explain Donald Trump's campaign slogan. "When you say Make America Great Again, which period are we talking about?" Tip questioned. "[Is it] the period when women couldn't vote? The period when we were hanging from trees? The crack era? Which period in America are you trying to make great again."

The 30-year-old Connecticut native said: "I actually think that I would totally rock a hat right now that says Make Black America Great Again," which prompted T.I. to interject and restate the original question.

"Which period was America great that we're trying to replicate? Which era was it? Tell me." T.I. questioned. With an excited audience, Owens' attempt to explain Trump's slogan didn't go so well.
