Wife Crashes Her Own Funeral, Shocks Scheming Husband Who Planned To Have Her Killed

Noela Rukundo's life was spared by hitmen with morals who were hired by her husband to kill her.

Talk about turning the tables. A woman by the name of Noela Rukundo from Melbourne, Australia, who was presumed dead, showed up to her own funeral- very much alive and ready to serve justice to the husband who tried to have her killed.

A few days earlier, Balenga Kalala had hired a team of hitmen to kill his wife of 10 years, offering them a few thousands dollars to carry out the murder because he thought she would leave him for another man. Little did he know that they didn't kill Rukundo. With the help of a pastor and Rukundo's moxie, she was able to return to Melbourne unharmed and reveal that she was alive all along. She showed up at the end of the funeral service, shocking her scheming husband, The Washington Post reports.

“Is it my eyes? Is it a ghost?” she remembered him saying when she emerged from her vehicle as the last few mourners left the area. He told family and friends that his wife died in a tragic accident. “Surprise! I’m still alive!” she said.

According to The Post, Kalala, who is a refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo, "had fled a rebel army that had ransacked his village, killing his wife and young son" before coming to Australia and meeting Rukundo at a resettlement agency 11 years ago. Last year was when things started to unfold. Kalala tried to get someone to shoot her outside of her hotel room after going to her stepmother's funeral service. They told her not to scream before blindfolding her and leading her into a car.

The hitmen told her exactly what was going on and how her husband wanted her dead; they even played her the recordings which detailed exactly how he wanted the murder carried out. However, the hitmen didn't believe in killing women, and also knew her brother. She was kept alive to reportedly "tell other stupid women like you what happened." They kept his money and gave Rukundo "a mobile phone, recordings of their phone conversations with Kalala, and receipts for the $7,000 in Australian dollars they allegedly received in payment," says Australia’s The Age. After Kalala admitted his involvement in a phone conversation recorded by the police, he was sentenced to nine years behind bars for incitement to murder. Rukundo is now forced to raise eight children alone, and is working to move to a different home with the help of the Department of Human Services.

What did Rukundo have to say after all was said and done?

“I will stand up like a strong woman,” she said. “My situation, my past life? That is gone. I’m starting a new life now.”

Jada Pinkett Smith Opens Up About Past Porn Addiction

Jada Pinkett Smith discussed her previously "unhealthy" addiction to porn on her Facebook Watch show, Red Table Talk.

The actress opened up on Monday's episode (May 20) about her relationship to porn, which she revealed occurred shortly before her relationship with her husband Will Smith began.

"If I was still on my porn game, I'd be able to show you some good porn," she said to her daughter Willow and mother Adrienne shortly before the episode began.

"Back in the day I had a little porn addiction, but I wasn't in a relationship when I had a porn addiction, believe it or not, thank goodness," she said. "...Maybe I’ll say now that I had an unhealthy relationship to porn at one point in my life where I was trying to practice abstinence."

When prompted by her daughter on what brought on this "fixation" to adult entertainment, Jada discussed that it came from an emotional place.

"It was actually like feeling like an emptiness, at least you think it is," she explained. "But it's actually not."

Later on in the episode, the trio brought in a couple who explained how the man's porn addiction nearly cost them their marriage.

Nipsey Hussle's Sister Maintains Custody Of His Daughter

According to reports, Nipsey Hussle's sister Samantha will retain custody of his 10-year-old daughter, Emani.

TMZ says that the late rapper's family believes that Emani's biological mother, Tanisha Foster, is "unfit" to take care of the child. Foster was interviewed briefly by the gossip site's cameras regarding the verdict, where she voiced her disappointment.

"I'm pissed off," she said. When prompted about matters such as visitation rights for the child, Foster did not comment. There is reportedly another hearing in July.

"Tanisha's lawyer, Larry Lewellyn, tells TMZ he's working with Nipsey's family on a visitation schedule that will be in Emani's best interest," reports the site. Emani has been living under the care of Smith since her father's untimely death in late-March.

As VIBE previously reported, a warrant was reportedly sent out for Foster's arrest after she failed to appear in court for a DUI case. "Foster skipped out on her court date on May 15... which resulted in her probation being revoked and a bench warrant for her arrest being issued," we wrote.
