Azealia Banks Is (Tragically) So Here For Iggy Azalea’s Suicidal Thoughts
During an interview with J Cruz last week, Iggy Azalea revealed she had thoughts of suicide after all the negative backlash she has received from the industry within the last year. Regardless of the sensitive nature of the issue at hand, Azealia Banks still made it her mission to come at Iggy on an Instagram post:
“YAAS slavemaster, drive that slave truck right off the canyon,” Azealia wrote underneath the post. While Banks’ sharp tongue doesn’t come as a surprise to the masses, her brash response of encouraging suicide perhaps may have been a bit much.
Iggy told J Cruz there were many times where she contemplated just driving off a cliff. “I don’t know, there were times when I wanted to just quit life,” she revealed “Sometimes I would drive through the canyons to get to my horses and I would be like what if I just kept driving.”
It’s safe to say Azealia’s comment definitely struck a cord among the masses. Former Love & Hip Hop star Cyn Santana left a comment below Azealia’s, speaking out against the Harlem’s MC ruthless message. Suicide is something Santana doesn’t take lightly, considering how her brother killed himself.
“Eh.Not Funny. Actually disgusting!! Encouraging someone to commit suicide????” She wrote. “You’re sick @azealiabanks I just said a prayer for you. You need allllllll the prayers.”
Along with Cyn Santana, other disgruntled fans took to Twitter to share their dismay on Azealia’s controversial remark. Here are some of their tweets below. What do you think of Azealia’s recent comment has she gone too far? Sound-off below.
I love Azealia Banks but her telling Iggy she should’ve commit suicide has to be the most lowest thing she’s ever done 😒

You know what I’m just gonna stop listening to Azealia Banks completely. Why would you encourage someone to commit suicide?
