PSA: Chris Brown Responds To Criticism Of His Black Pyramid Clothing Line

Chris Brown is not here for members of Team Breezy complaining about pricing for his newly-released collection of his Black Pyramid clothing brand. After all, they aren’t Yeezy Season prices.

CB is yet another artist in the hip-hop game taking their talents to the fashion streets. And while many of his supporters jumped at the chance to get some West Coast-inspired gear, not everyone was too happy when they dragged their favorite items to the shopping cart. In fact, many of them jumped on social media, expressing their problems with the high prices.

Breezy promptly caught wind of the uproar, and decided to address the backlash on his Instagram. “So, some of these so called fans are complaining about $70 shirts, $90 shirts. What the f*** you be talking bout when you say you buy 10-15 album? How much is that b**ch?” he asked in a 15-second video.

He later followed the video in the comments section of one of his posts, saying, “Cry me a f***ing river. You b**** n****s killing over Jordans, waiting outside for Yeezys for days. My prices are H&M and ZARA prices. I’m not running for president nor did I say u had to buy anything. So like I always say, taste this fart I been holding in on this plane ride to Paris. S**theads.”

While the “Back to Sleep” singer’s collection ranges on the pricey side, starting with t-shirts at $70 all the way to $90, he does have a point in calling out other brands such as Jordan and Yeezy’s, which have priced its merchandise well into the hundreds and thousands.

Unfortunately, dressing in the latest streetwear doesn’t come cheap. And despite the recent backlash, we’re sure that Team Breezy won’t dwell too much on the prices and be back to rocking the last Black Pyramid all summer.
