Justine Skye Is The Newest Member Of The Roc Nation Family
We’re just three months into 2016 and Justine Skye is already making some serious boss moves. Early Thursday morning (March 24), the 20-year-old announced that she’s taking her talents to Jay Z’s roster of professionals at Roc Nation.
The Purple Unicorn took to Instagram to share her excitement to join Jigga’s entertainment conglomerate especially because she, like the legendary rapper, hails from Brooklyn.
“So happy to let you guys know that I’m with Roc Nation. Being a girl from Brooklyn… there’s no other label I would rather be at. Thank you guys for believing in me, now it’s about to get real. #lafamilia,” she wrote.
Roc Nation echoed the “Bandit” singer’s sentiments. “Welcome @justineskye to the #RocNation family,” it captioned a picture of Skye wearing the brand’s hat.

Skye, who released her latest EP Emotionally Unavailable in June of last year, comes to the label after spending three years with Atlantic Records. The New York native will be in elite company as Rihanna, and, more recently, DJ Khaled also call Roc Nation home.
