A Few K. Michelle Fans Are Disgruntled After She Endorses Hillary Clinton For President

K. Michelle fans are not here for Hillary.

R&B songstress and former Love & Hip Hop Atlanta reality star K.Michelle recently took to Instagram to publicly endorse Hillary Clinton for president in 2016. In four posts, the "Love 'Em All" singer shared her her affinity for Mrs. Clinton, and shared some her own story in hopes to inspire the masses.

“My life has taken me places I would've never thought. I graduated from Florida A&M University with honors, and later was accepted into numerous law schools. Then one wrong turn and my life changed,” she wrote. "From ratchet reality TV, Twitter fights, to currently making history as the 1st African-American to ever receive an endorsement and their own beverage brand through Jack Daniels. So many wrong turns, but a constant fight to get back on the right track. It's takin some time...P.S. I will be actively supporting and campaigning for Hillary Clinton throughout this term, she is a woman who you should know. A woman also counted out. I relate to her. I'm placing my energy in people and things that evoke CHANGE!"

My life has taken me places I would've never thought. I graduated from Florida A&M University with honors, and later was accepted into numerous law schools. Then one wrong turn and my life changed. From ratchet reality TV, Twitter fights, to currently making history as the 1st African-American to ever receive an endorsement and their own beverage brand through Jack Daniels. So many wrong turns, but a constant fight to get back on the right track. It's takin some time. Music is my heart and my life, but after this album I'm taking a break to focus on my other gifts. I would like to finally enroll in Law School and pursue my other business ventures. My restaurant is in build out, my home good line is about to launch in a department store near you. I have two TV shows I'm producing. I also have one of the hugest announcements of my life about my new partnership with Atlantic Records coming in a couple weeks. Wow. Who would've thought that red wig, Love & Hip Hop K. Michelle would be at this point? Today I heard my mother cry because she was proud of my current career accomplishments and that's all I've ever wanted. My goal isn't to be the perfect role model, but to be the MOST realistic. To anybody I've hurt along this journey of healing my hurt. I'm SORRY. To all my fans I love you like family. March 25 is a celebration! I will be releasing my third album #MoreIssuesThanVogue when they said I would NEVER have one. You guys made the last 2 albums #1 on the R&B charts, let's make the third time a charm AGAIN! One Love. P.S. I will be actively supporting and campaigning for Hillary Clinton throughout this term, she is a woman who you should know. A woman also counted out. I relate to her. I'm placing my energy in people and things that evoke CHANGE! ?🏽

She also went onto express other reasons for why she endorses Hillary as well, saying how as an African-American woman she can relate to Hillary as well based on her stance and belief on things. Lastly, she spoke about the importance of education and more so, how significant it is for minority students to pursue higher learning. Also adding how she herself will be helping a girl finance her studies.

"What do you believe in, and are you willing to fight for it against all odds? It's not easy but it's worth it. #hillary2016," she concluded.

Amid K.Michelle's allegiance to Hillary, she didn't go out with out some backlash from fans, who don't agree with Michelle backing up Hillary. Check out some of their disgruntled comments below:

LeBron James Sets Children's Book For Release This Summer

A man of many talents, LeBron James is adding author to his stacked resume. According to Entertainment Weekly, the three-time NBA champion joined literary forces with HarperCollins Publishers to create a children's book titled I PROMISE. The book will be released in August.

"Books have the ability to teach, inspire, and bring people together. That's why these books, and the opportunity to get children and parents reading together, mean so much to me," he said. "Most importantly, we wanted to make sure these stories are ones that every single kid can see themselves in. I PROMISE is powerful in that way and I can't wait for people to read it." On Instagram, James expounded upon his statement, hoping that the text will inspire its young readers and encourage the next game-changer.

"Man, the beauty of this is the process in how we got here," he wrote. "Never settling no matter the opportunities or chapters we add to this journey and now we get to share our promise and our story with kids and families everywhere. I can’t wait for everyone to read this, share this, feel empowered, and strive for greatness the same way my kids from Akron do every day." The book is illustrated by Nina Mata and will focus on giving back to communities and a reminder to always bet on yourself.

Young Thug Tweets Message For Dwyane Wade’s 12-Year-Old Trans Daughter

Dwyane Wade supporting his 12-year-old child’s gender transition is apparently sending a few ripples through the rap world. Young Thug took to Twitter on Tuesday (Feb. 18) with a message for 12-year-old Zaya, whom he referred to as Wade’s “son.”

“All I wanna say to dwade son is ‘GOD DON’T MAKE MISTAKES’ but hey live your true self,” he wrote. Many people online were quick to check Thugger for his comments and for misgendering the child. He eventually deleted the post and tweeted, “You’re gods [sic] best creation.”

“The London” rapper has been known to proudly sport gender-bending fashions, which includes wearing a dress on the cover of his album No My Name Is Jeffery, but he’s not alone in his comments about Zaya. Boosie Badazz recorded a viral Instagram rant about Zaya’s transition that was mostly met with backlash.

Zaya who was born Zion, came out as trans to Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union. The NBA star and father of five opened up about the tween’s gender identity in an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last week. “Me and my wife Gabrielle [Union] we are proud parents of a child in the LGBTQ+ community and proud allies as well,” said Wade.

“We take our roles and our responsibility as parents very seriously so when our child comes home with a question, an issue, or anything, it’s our jobs as parents to give them the best information that we can, the best feedback that we can. And that doesn’t change because sexuality is now involved.”
