Katt Williams Was Reportedly Arrested On Drug Possession During Home Raid


Katt Williams just can’t seem to catch a break. The comedian has been caught up in another situation, after being arrested in his Gerogia home after a police raid earlier this week.

According to the Georgia Hall County Sheriff’s Office, police served Williams with a search warrant at his home as part of an investigation that began March 1. After entering with a warrant, police uncovered “large quantities” of marijuana and firearms on the property according to TMZ.

In addition to his possession of illegal items, the warrant was also in relation to previous assault allegations. Williams’ former bodyguard claimed that after refusing to partake in illegal activity on Williams’ behalf, the comedian threatened to kill him and proceeded to beat and choke the bodyguard.

Preceding the home raid, Williams was detained on aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and false imprisonment charges, in addition to possession of illegal weapons and drugs. These charges will mark the fourth tally on the comedian’s legal chart. Williams was previously arrested for allegedly holding five women at gunpoint, assaulting a pool store clerk, and battery in L.A.. These charges have all occurred within one week. Hopefully, Williams can get himself out of this downward spiral.
