Take A Look At Riccardo Tisci's Next Nike Collaboration
Designer workout duds, anyone?
After two widely successful shoe collaborations with Nike, Givenchy Creative Director Riccardo Tisci is teaming up with NikeLab to put yet another high fashion spin on the sportswear brand.
Earlier last week, Tisci unveiled the next collaboration would actually be a full performance-wear collection inspired by those athletes training for the summer Olympics. Dubbed the NikeLab x RT: Training Redefined, the limited-edition line features garments swathed in a colorful, kaleidoscope-print and Nike's main performance technologies like Dri-FIT and Flyknit.
"It was interesting…a little bit of a difficult process because to make something that is very dynamic, to do sport and to do activity, and make it strongly recognizable—a fashion statement—is not easy," Tisci said in a statement. "But we achieved something that's amazing. There's a lot of sensuality."
From crop tops to two-in-one basketball shorts to full-length tights, there's a lot of gear for both ladies and guys to choose from. If you're into fly workout gear that will certainly stand out, the NikeLab x RT: Training Redefined is definitely worth the coins (although pricing hasn't been announced yet), once it drops in July.
