Snoop Dogg Becomes First Musician To Be Inducted Into WWE’s Celebrity Hall Of Fame
Snoop Dogg is making history in a body-slamming way. The WWE conglomerate announced that the D-O-G-G will join the likes of Mike Tyson and Mr. T in their celebrity Hall of Fame section, Rolling Stone reports.
The veteran rapper also makes history as the first musician to join the ranks, solidifying his longstanding relationship with the wrestling entity. The site also states that Snoop is related to famed pro-wrestler Sasha Banks. The pair are cousins, with Banks hinting at a possible appearance from the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” artist during her Divas Championship bout at WrestleMania.
Banks also shared that Snoop might serve as her live act during her walk to the ring. “Maybe you should watch WrestleMania you might see it, you never know! I don’t need someone to walk me to the ring every week and hold my hand like Charlotte does, but Snoop can make an appearance once in a while.”
The induction ceremony will take place on Apr. 2 on WWE Network at 8 p.m. EST.
