Beyonce Showcases The Beauty Of Black Women In ‘Lemonade’ Feature On HBO

Thousands of viewers presumably canceled their Saturday night (Apr. 23) plans to be transfixed by Beyonce’s visuals for her Lemonade feature on HBO. Just a week ago, Queen Bey stopped the world again when she announced the epic event on her Instagram account, which turned out to be a visual album for the aforementioned title.

The hourlong feature projected images that’ll make black women beam with pride and confidence. Featuring game-changers in society including Quvenzhané Wallis, Zendaya, Ibeyi, Amandla Stenberg, Chloe and Halle, and Serena Williams, black women and girls stood in solidarity to powerfully showcase their strength and beauty.

Lemonade also hosted emotional and heart-tugging appearances from the mothers of Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, and Michael Brown. While Bey’s lyrics might’ve perked viewers’ ears, it was the imagery gleaming before your eyes that captivated you the most.
