Birdman Appeared On The Breakfast Club For A Less Than Three Minute Conversation

On Friday morning (Apr. 22), Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club probably recorded the shortest interview in the archives of their widely successful program. Cash Money’s head honcho Birdman appeared on the morning radio talk show to not dive into any details about a pending Cash Money biopic or any new tracks he has on the way, but he instead aimed his statements at the hosts for apparently defaming his name.

Before Birdman sat down to begin the Q&A, he gave Angela Yee, DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God a warning, stating “I want to start this thing off straight telling all three of y’all stop playing with my name. Stop playing with my f**king name.”

After he sat down and the cameras were officially rolling, the New Orleans native and Charlamagne went back and forth when the Uncommon Sense host asked Birdman to share the frustration he has with the Breakfast Club members with the listeners.

In Charlamagne’s direction, Birdman said, “I wanted to see you. I wanted to talk to you as a man to your face. I knew a few places you was at. I could’ve pulled up, but I thought that was gangsta. I wanted to come look you in your face like a man and tell you how I feel.”

The unlikely conversation later warranted a response from Charlamagne on Twitter, using a phrase once made popular by Baby himself.

Social media users also took various lines from Birdman’s interview and made memes to turn the heated event into a laughable instance.
