Desiigner’s “Panda” Is Now The Number One Rap Song In America
Desiigner’s has literally hit the top of the charts with his viral track, “Panda.”
Billboard reports the 19-year’s old’s single has bumped G-Eazy’s “Me, Myself & I” to number two on the Hot Rap Songs charts this week. Eazy’s single featuring Bebe Rexha held down the top spot for nine weeks since it’s debut on the chart in February. Desiigner’s quick rush to the top happened in just a few weeks since entering the charts in March.
The song is also making it big on the Billboard Hot 100, sitting pretty at number 5. It’s no surprise that the song’s biggest streams come from YouTube. Currently, the single’s audio has garnered more than 46 million views. Kanye West’s “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2,” which “Panda” was included on, is also on the Rap charts at number 11.
Desiigner recently dropped special visuals to “Panda” on Tuesday (April 12) with a panda mascot wrecking havoc in organic shops and dabbing in the streets.
