Drake Hints At A Collaboration Project With Kanye West
It's been less than 24 hours since VIEWS dropped and Drake already has his sights set on another project. The Toronto native revealed during his Beats 1 interview with Zane Lowe that he might have a collaboration album with Kanye West on the way.
Throughout the sit-down, Drizzy hinted at new music not related to his fourth studio soundscape that might see the light of day this year, and one of those possibly being his joint effort with Ye.
"We have a few things that we’ve worked on. It’s all about finding a place for it. ‘Ye is one of my favorite people in the world ... I hope we get some more music out. We were supposed to do a mixtape, album together."
Although that's all of the details Drake was willing to share on that venture, he dived into the inspiration behind his current album, which features dvsn, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Future and Rihanna. The "Pound Cake" rapper said the album follows the pattern of the changing seasons in his hometown.
"It starts in the wintertime ["Keep The Family Close"]. Winter to summer and back to winter again," he said. "It's just to show you the two extreme moods that we have. We love our summers, but we also make our winters work. I thought it was very important to do the album here."
