Drake Finally Shares Release Date For ‘Views From The 6′
Earlier this week, various reports surfaced that alluded to the release timeframe of Drake’s Views From The 6 album. With the nineteenth episode of his OVO Sound Radio underway (Apr. 9), the Toronto native treated fans to the exact date that his fourth studio album will arrive.
At the beginning of the Beats 1 program, Drizzy shared April 29 as the day he plans to stop the music world with his forthcoming project. So far, fans have been gifted with possible cuts off the album, including the Popcaan-assisted “Controlla,” “Pop Style” featuring Kanye West and Jay Z, and “One Dance” alongside Wizkid and Kyla.
The “Big Rings” rapper also shared that listeners should prepare for an extended listening session, in my opinion, something similar to Justin Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience in terms of the length of the album’s tracks. “It’s not a short ting,” he said. “There’s a lot of music on there.” Views From The 6 will also be available exclusively on Apple Music.

In addition to announcing VFT6 release date, Drake also premiered a new verse on his track “Pop Style.” The original piece featured The Throne which consists of Kanye West and Jay Z, but this latest version solely hosts the 29-year-old’s bars.
