James Corden's 'Late Late Show' Monologue Is 'Lemonade' Inspired
Not one to hold back on the immaculately-timed jokes and references, late-night talk show host James Corden is back with a monologue paying homage to Beyonce's Lemonade visual album.
Entitled "Lemonjames," Corden walks viewers through the internal struggles he faces about trying to always come up with jokes for a monologue.
"This is in the news. That's in the news. What else is in the news? You guys see this? Do you guys see...me?" he asks as he kneels in front of a bright red curtain. He continues to question himself and his thoughts while sitting in a bathtub.
"I don't want to do another Trump joke, I've exhausted that topic," he says quietly. "Doing Trump jokes makes me feel dirty. Do you know what else makes me feel dirty? This bathtub." You can also see Corden walking through a cornfield with a hoodie and wearing a bra while sitting on the floor. He also throws a little shade at Jimmy Fallon, a.k.a- "Jimmy with the good hair," and wields a Hot Sauce-style baseball bat backstage as "Hold Up" blares.
Just watch below to see what he does next.
