Joey Fatts And Vince Staples Deal With Trigger Happy Cops In The “Farrakhan” Video

For a minute, Long Beach rapper, Joey Fatts grew quiet. But last month, the Left Coast self-made emcee released his I’ll Call You Tomorrow mixtape.

One of the standout cuts on Fatts latest effort is the politically charged “Farrakhan,” featuring Vince Staples. Directed by Yamï, the video finds Staples imitating a Nation of Islam member — decked in a black suit and bowtie — reading a newspaper outside of a corner store. After exiting the store, and dapping Staples, Fatts walks down the block with a 40 oz. With the crooked cops following Fatts, he takes off running. The cops catch up with him and gives out an un-proper a** whipping.
