Where Brooklyn At? Nas And Fabolous To Headline Brooklyn’s Annual ‘BK Fest’

The 12th Annual Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival will welcome some of the hottest acts to the borough from July 13 to 16. Brooklyn born rappers Fabolous and Nas (who was raised in Queens) will serve as the event’s headliners.

Talib Kweli and Rapsody are also on the performance bill, while Torae and Uncle Ralph will be back to assume their hosting duties at Brooklyn Bridge Park.

There’s no telling what could happen this year. Hip-hop has suffered some major losses in 2016, including the passing of ATCQ’s Phife Dawg and Atlanta up and coming artist Bankroll Fresh, but with the birthplace of hip-hop being in the Big Apple, it’s sure to be a celebration of life and the genre.

Tickets for the festival will go on sale via the event’s website.
