Questlove Is Hosting A Prince Tribute At Brooklyn Bowl Tonight

As the world gently weeps the loss of Prince, friend and admirer Questlove is planning one unforgettable set in Brooklyn this evening (April 21.)

In addition to Spike Lee’s celebratory bash, Quest will honor the legend at Brooklyn Bowl in Williamsburg. The DJ, who hosts a weekly party at the music venue/bowling alley, announced the news to fans via Instagram.

DNA Info New York reports the event will replace Talib Kweli’s set. Fans who previously purchased tickets are welcomed to use them for Quest’s set or receive a refund at the point of purchase.

Questlove has constantly shared his love for Prince in endless interviews and Tourè’s New York Times bestseller, I Would Die 4 U: Why Prince Became An Icon. He also taught a week-long class at NYU on the singer’s legendary album, Dirty Mind.
