“Travel is probably my biggest influence outside of music, and it’s great that through music I get to travel. I think interactions with people, even random people, are big influences on my music too. Through that I feel like I see how the world works and how people think,” Saba told i-D.

While the track touches on his travels around the world, it also sets a reflective tone, questioning many choices that were made in his career. “Sometimes i wonder what my life would be like If i didn’t try. To take my whole life. And put it in writing. And put it on wax to play while you drive,” he raps over the hypnotic beat.

The track also seems to reference many current events. In the same verse, Saba takes shots at Republican candidate, Donald Trump saying, “F**k Donald Trump,” and also mentions the late Phife Dawg.
