Young Thug Shows Love For Flood Victims In “Texas Love” Video

Earlier in April 2015, flash floods swallowed the Houston area, causing more than $5 billion in property damage and claimed the lives of seven people. Being that Young Thug has often referred to Texas as his “second home,” the rapper showed his support for the victims, their families, and the area with the release of his video for “Texas Love.”

While the song itself isn’t about the flash flooding, the visuals seemed to illustrate a story pretty similar to the current events. The video shows news footage of Texans abandoning their cars and walking alongside the flooded streets. He also shows some of the damage that was done to the city following the flooding.

The video wraps up, as Thugger is rapping in front a of a Prince symbol, paying homage to the late icon. Watch the video for Young Thug’s “Texas Love” below.
