Arsenio Hall Files Lawsuit Against Sinead O'Connor For Accusing Him Of Giving Prince Drugs
Sinead O’ Connor has recently accused famed talk show host Arsenio Hall of delivering drugs to Prince in an erratic Facebook post. Hall, however, fired back with a hefty $5 million dollar lawsuit for defamation, according to court documents filed in the Los Angeles Supreme Court on Thursday (May 5).
"Anyone imagining Prince was not a long time hard drug user is living in cloud cuckoo land. Arsenio I've reported you to the Carver County Sherrif's office. Expect their call. They are aware you spiked me years ago at Eddie Murphy's house. You best get tidying your man cave," O’Connor wrote. "Two words for the DEA investigating where Prince got his drugs over the decades....Arsenio Hall."
Hall’s legal team has denied those claims and affirmed that he hasn’t seen her in 25 years, Variety reports.
Whether or not the “Nothing Compares To You” singer’s claims are true, there has been a lot of speculation alluding that the late singer’s cause of death was indeed due to prescription drug abuse. A report just surfaced this week stating that Prince died just a day before he was supposed to see a doctor who specializes in drug addiction recovery.
