‘Say It, That Everyday Is A Toast To Living:’ Brooklyn Kids Recite Inspiring Poem

It’s beautiful seeing when children take pride in who they are.

In a video on The Huffington Post, a group of six black kids, ages 5-10 from Achievement First Endeavor Elementary School in Brooklyn—have recited the inspiring poem “Say It, Sing It If The Spirit Leads,” by Joshua Bennett.

“We praise always/we elegant everywhere/we die too soon/we joyous anyhow/say it/that everyday is a toast to living,” they recited.
