The latest development will launch in Hong Kong, China, but there’s no word as to whether or not hopefuls across the world will be able to spice up their manicures.

“The recipe for our edible nail polish is unique and was specifically designed to hold the flavor, but to also dry with a glossy coat similar to normal nail polish,” says John Koay, Ogilvy creative director. “This campaign is designed to be intriguing and fun to increase excitement around the KFC brand in Hong Kong.”

In partnership with herbs and spices giant McCormick, the nail polishes will host a “secret mix” of 11 seasonings. In promotion of the announcement, KFC also released an ad/video to get those who are interested excited.
