Nashville’s Vann Wants To Risk It All In The “Backseat”

Singer and songwriter Vann has a sonic addiction to the melodies created in the ’90s. The Nashville, TN born artist claims that his latest record “Backseat” is inspired by the latter end of the revolutionary decade. Vann linked with producer Flash to put together a sensual ode dedicated to freaky hook-up sessions that go down in the backseat.

Vann keeps it 100 in the intro as he samples the familiar hook from Ludacris’ breakthrough club banger “What’s Your Fantasy.” The song was originally pitched to Chris Brown, however, Vann felt it was necessary for him to drop it himself.

“I actually wrote the song for Chris Brown, but I never heard back from his team,” Vann told HNHH. I played it for a couple of my industry peers and everybody was like that’s the one, you need to drop that asap.”
