Watch Beyonce's Powerful And Heartfelt CFDA Awards Speech

Beyonce wins the Fashion Icon Award at the CFDA Awards.

Beyonce showed up and showed out at the CFDA Awards Monday night (June 6).

Jay Z appeared later with his date for the night, Blue Ivy, to support Bey. The daddy-daughter duo arrived at the venue matching in black and white, as Blue Ivy waved to the paparazzi. Beyonce's mom, Mrs. Tina Lawson, was also in attendance at the awards.

The “Formation” singer sparkled on stage as she accepted her CFDA Fashion Icon Award in a glittery black Givenchy pants suit with matching black pumps from iconic designer Diane von Furstenberg.

Queen Bey grew emotional as she walked down memory lane, reminiscing on her many experiences and encounters within the fashion industry.

She recalls fashion always being a part of her life, starting with her grandmother being a seamstress, and passing her amazing talents down to her mother, Tina Lawson. “When we were starting out with Destiny's Child, high-end labels, they didn't really want to dress four black, country, curvy girls, and we couldn't afford designer dresses or couture. My mother was rejected from every showroom in New York,” she revealed.

Destiny’s Child was shooting a MTV "Spring Break" show in Jamaica and en route their luggage was lost. Mama Tina ran out to a local flea market and picked up men’s camouflage pants and shirts, cutting them up into skirts and shirts for the girls. They fell in love with their outfits and received compliments from others, which made her switch over to styling the girls, along with the help of Beyonce’s uncle, Johnny.

That’s right, all of the ladies matching stage pieces and costumes were hand crafted by Mama Tina. She curated each piece uniquely for the singers to accentuate their best features.

“The girls were really easy and they each had things they liked to show. Kelly had great arms and a great midriff," Lawson said. "Beyoncé had great legs so we would show her legs. Michelle didn’t like her legs so we always had her in pants. I just tried to do what they wanted and what they liked.”

Beyonce concluded her amazing speech by thanking everyone that contributes to the art of fashion.

“Fashion is a tool for finding your own identity, expression and strength. Y'all are fairy godmothers, and magicians, and sculptors, sometimes even our therapists. I encourage you to not forget this power that you have, or take it lightly," she said. "We have an opportunity to contribute to a society where any girl can look at a billboard or a magazine cover and see her own reflection. The soul has no color, no shape, no form. Just like all of your work, it goes so far beyond what the eyes can see. And you have the power to change perception, to inspire and empower. And to show people how to embrace their complications and see the flaws and the true beauty and strength that's inside all of us..."

Tyler, The Creator Reacts To Drake Getting Booed At Camp Flog Gnaw

Tyler, the Creator is speaking up about Drake receiving boos at the 2019 Camp Flog Gnaw Festival. The former Odd Future member took to his Twitter account to share his thoughts on the incident and address the reports of the Toronto native making an early departure from the event''s stage.

"I thought bringing one of the biggest [sic] artists on the f**king planet to a music festival was fire!" he exclaimed in all caps in a tweet on Monday afternoon (Nov. 11). "But flipside, a lil tone deaf knowing the specific crowd it drew. Some created a narrative in their head and acted out like a**holes when it didn't come true and I don't f**k with that."

Tyler continued by pointing out that although there were boos "in the front area" by folks who were "mad rude" and came off as "entitled," most attendees were having a great time. "That sh*t was like mob mentality and cancel culture in real life and I think that sh*t is f**king trash."

"Ni**a did feel no ways! That song is beautiful!" remarked Tyler about Drizzy's attempt to fully perform "Feel No Ways" a deep cut off his Views album. "Most guys don't do album cuts! Thank you, Aubrey! Like, I love that song and thought that would never happen....He really did that for me and I appreciate it because he did not have to come at all. See our worlds come together was so great in the theory."

Tyler went on to add a positive perspective to the whole incident and tweeted, "But hey man sh*t happens, all jokes aside, sh*t lowkey funny HAHAHA" he added. "Aside from that, hope everyone had a good time. Again, no [sic] arrests. No bullsh*t, man. A lot of people enjoyed it, thanks again!"

YG Brings Out Stormy Daniels For His "F*ck Donald Trump" Ritual

Rapper YG snagged adult film star Stormy Daniels to dish out some shade directed at President Donald Trump.

On Sunday night (Nov. 10), YG called on the porn star for his usual ritual of inviting someone on to disrespect Trump before going into his Nipsey Hussle-assisted "Fuck Donald Trump."

"My name is Stormy Daniels, and I'm the reason Donald Trump is fucked!" Daniels told the audience. For his part, YG appeared to suggest that he didn't know who Stormy was, but needless to say, it's unlikely that's actually the case.

Stormy Daniels is the adult film star whom President Trump allegedly told his former lawyer Michael Cohen to pay off in order to conceal an alleged affair Trump and Daniels had during the early years of his marriage to Melania Trump. Since that revelation, Daniels has intermittently shaded Trump, and this is just the latest example.

While Daniels had no qualms about denouncing the polarizing president, there has been at least one fan who turned down the chance to do so. A few weeks ago, a fan who was called up to the stage at YG's set at the 2019 Mala Luna Music Festival in San Antonio, Texas declined to scream out the song's hook. After that, YG asked him to leave the stage. Video of the interaction went viral and even prompted a response from the White House.

"Another example of the tolerant left," White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said in a sarcastic tone.

Drake Gets Booed At Tyler, The Creator's Camp Flog Gnaw Festival

Drake experienced a night he'd probably want to forget after getting boo'd off stage at Tyler, the Creator's Camp Flog Gnaw Festival in the wee hours of Monday morning (Nov. 10).  In footage making rounds on social media, the 6 God, who is arguably the biggest rapper in the world, can be seen pleading with the L.A. crowd:

"Like I said, I'm here for you," and, "If you want me to keep going, I'll keep going."

The "Mob Ties" rapper was met with a fusillade of boos and “nos,” which resulted in him leaving the stage. "It's been love. I go by the name of Drake, thank you for having me,” he says as he walks off, reportedly ending his set 20 minutes early.

Apparently, Drake was a victim of some fake news. An Instagram Live recording led concertgoers to believe that Frank Ocean, was set to perform. But even that news wasn't and hasn't been confirmed.
