Demi Lovato & Nick Jonas Open Tour In ATL With Hometown Hero T.I.
It went down in the ATL.
Longtime friends, entrepreneurial partners and newly-minted tourmates Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas kicked off their Honda Civic Tour: Future Now, Wednesday (June 29) in Atlanta at the Philips Arena.
Special guests Rich Homie Quan and Migos opened, while hometown hero and Grand Hustle rapper T.I. assisted Demi in performing “Live Your Life” and Nick in “Whatever You Like," respectively.
The 42-date trek across North America is comprised of loosely-formulated sets that will feature both solos and duets, as Lovato pulls mostly from her fifth studio LP Confident and Jonas from his third solo album Last Year Was Complicated.
"The great thing about this show is that we can really play around," Jonas shared with USA Today. "If there's a song that I love of Demi's that I might want to jump up and just play on, that's a possibility."
The tour kickoff was also live-streamed via TIDAL free of charge for both members and non-members, giving fans a sneak peek of what's to come as the duo heads to New York, Chicago, Houston and more, before wrapping up in Los Angeles Sept. 17.
