Kanye West Says He & George Bush Could Be Friends In An “Alternative Universe”

Kanye West went on the record about his “Famous” video in an interview with Vanity Fair.

Given the nude celebs ( George W. Bush Donald Trump Anna Wintour Rihanna Chris Brown, Taylor Swift, Ray J, Amber Rose, Caitlyn Jenner, and Bill Cosby) depicted in bed alongside West and his wife, Kim Kardashian, the shock value is obviously high. The concept, however, isn’t meant to be sexual. “It’s a comment on fame,” said West.

The 39-year-old rapper also discussed his curious choice to include former President Bush, more than a decade after he told the world: “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.”

His views on Bush have changed.  “Maybe in some alternative universe me and George Bush could have been friends,” said ‘Ye. “I could have been his O.J. Simpson black friend on the golf course.”

As for Cosby, West said that he wasn’t making a statement on the embattled comedian’s sexual assault allegations. “It’s not in support or anti any of [the people in the video].”

Although there’s a good chance that Bush, Cosby, Trump, Swift, Wintour, and everyone else, didn’t actually strip down for his music video, Yeezy wouldn’t confirm how much is real.

West debuted the “Famous” at the Forum in Inglewood, California, Friday (June 24) night to a crowd of roughly 1,000 fans and friends. Ahead of the major premiere, he gave a few celebrity friends a preview of the video. “Guess what the response is when I show it to them?” he said. “They want to be in the bed.”

That enthusiasm doesn’t extend to Swift. According to reports, the pop star is “livid and horrified” that she was depicted in the video.
