Messiah Fuses Trap & Reggae In “Wet Dream” As He Readies Debut Album

Messiah El Artista, a Dominican-born rapper who prides himself on being a grassroots artist, is ready for the big time. After teasing the album at a Hennessy studio session in New York City, Messiah releases the lead single to his proper debut, Made In Europe, scheduled for July. “Sueño Mojado (Wet Dream)” skillfully fuses Spanish rap, trap and reggae, and boasts the engineering wizardry of resident producer DJ 40.

“Sueño Mojado” was recorded in the Dominican Republic, produced by Evo Jedis, DJ Urba and Luis Romero, and mixed by Alcover of the producer group A&X. The track – a story about the worst rude awakening in the context of love – is now available on all digital platforms including iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Pandora and many more.

Messiah, who we introduced to our audience earlier this year, gained his recognition from his remixes of “Hot Nigga” and “Commas.” He previously teamed up with Power 105’s DJ Flipstar to release It Was Time – Volume Two (Ya Era Tiempo), where all of his original songs saw cross-market success.
