Oprah Winfrey's All For Hillary Clinton For President
"I'm with her."
We know Oprah is standing by former secretary of state, Hillary Clinton’s side during the presidential election, announcing that she's endorsing the Democratic forerunner.
“I’m with her,” she said to Entertainment Tonight. “Regardless of your politics, it’s a seminal moment for women. I really believe that that [Hillary Clinton being the first female president] is going to happen. And this is the truth. America, it’s about time that we made that decision. What this says is that there is no ceiling. It says anything is possible when you can be leader of the free world.”
Even President Barack Obama, is with her. After declining to back any of the candidates until the primaries ended, he recently endorsed Clinton.
Two votes down, several more to go!
In May, Clinton sat down with NBC’s Chuck Todd, and spoke about her campaign slogan. At the time, her mantra was "Stronger Together," to help define her candidacy message.
The Democratic nominee wants to leave a lasting impression and effect on the lives of Americans.
“I know that slogans come and go and all the rest of it, but I look at where we are in our country together,” Clinton told NBC. “We need to unify the country. We are stronger together when we act on a set of plans and priorities that will redound to the benefit of the American people.”
Well, she was right that slogans come and go, with her new motto being, “I’m with her.”
Will America make history two separate elections in a row, with Obama being the first black president of the United States and Clinton being the first female president?
