Throughout the EP, TuFli salutes major artists born in his neighborhood and pays homage to those who have influenced the structure of Harlem rap — like The Diplomats, Vado, and Dave East just to name a few. Producers like CMPLX and Mr. Authentic, who recently threw down beats for Jim Jones’ new album The Kitchen, offer soul-sampled production with murky storytelling scattered throughout TuFli’s newest body of work.
