No, it’s not Screw’s birthday nor the day he died, but June 27 is the day Screw recorded the classic freestyle of the same name. The date is, however, the birthday of S.U.C. member D-Moe, who wrecks shop on the legendary freestyle. “June 27th” is arguably the best freestyle in the history of hip-hop. They’re actually freestyling—for thirty-five minutes.
