OVO Camp Teases New Music In Light Of Joe Budden Diss Track

The OVO camp could possibly be stirring something up following Joe Budden’s diss track towards Drake.

The rapper and once friend of Drizzy’s dropped “Making a Murderer (Part 1)” on Thursday (June 30), where he slammed the rapper for his passive aggressiveness, the women they’ve shared over the years and plenty of other eyebrow raising moments. While Drake has previously been in a few rap beefs with Kendrick Lamar, Common and notably, Meek Mill, he’s been quiet when it comes to Budden.

In May, French Montana teased “No Shopping,” a song where Drizzy subtly hints a Joe Budden reference.

The song hasn’t been released just yet, but OVO audio engineer Noel Cadastre posted a photo with a game controller emoji. Popular producer and ally Boi-1da also commented, “Drake diss marketing.”

Of course, Budden replied to the hint on Twitter.

This fourth of July weekend may reveal more than just BBQ’s and American flags. Drake is expected to host OVO Sound Radio on Saturday. For now, check out the Budden’s track here.
