2 Chainz has a new “venture” in the works.
The Atlanta native announced on Instagram Saturday (July 16) that he’s opening a restaurant/lounge in his hometown.
“So I think it's time i let y'all in on my newest venture as an entrepreneur this spot is called @escobarlounge my first club/lounge in the city of Atlanta off Peter St...#GodisGood ...will be given opportunities and hiring reliable employees in the near future,” he wrote.

From the looks of the company's Instagram page, Escobar Lounge will serve tapas, and is currently looking for managers cooks and security.
ATL is no stranger to rap-related restaurant ventures, but they don’t always last. Jermaine Dupri's Cafe Dupri is no more, Diddy opened a Justin’s soul food location that later closed, and T.I's Scales 925 ran into some legal trouble with its employees.
On the other hand, 2 Chainz is strong in his business acumen, what with the $2 million he made off Christmas sweaters. The restaurant industry could be another win.
